Behavioral Feeding Services
Research has demonstrated that behavioral approaches to the assessment and treatment of individuals with feeding difficulties are effective in increasing appropriate eating skills and decreasing inappropriate mealtime behaviors. B.E.S.T.ís feeding programs strive to build an individualís appropriate skills, as well as reduce any interfering behaviors by utilizing treatment strategies based on the scientific principles of Behavior Analysis. The results of initial assessments help to inform the development of an individualized treatment approach customized to meet the specific needs of the individual and their family. Parent training and participation are critical components for the maintenance of treatment gains, and contribute to the overall success of our feeding interventions.
